Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our nine major business lines include Business Banking, Middle Market Banking, Government and Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Financial Institutions Group, Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Wells Fargo Securities, and the Investment Portfolio. The Loan Doc Specialist 4 (LDS4) with Wells Fargo Auto Commercial division will be responsible for performing Collateral Management review functions including, new, amended, and renewed loans on SHAW and AFS for Commercial Dealer clients.
Duties include collateral documentation review, including insurance, flood insurance, UCC functions (filing, continuing, terminating), real property collateral (initial, releasing), paid loan reporting, ETRAC monitoring.
The LDS4 works closely with internal business partners (CLS doc review, CLS production, Commercial Risk and Sales teams) to ensure timely and accurate onboarding of loans along with being able to handle high volume, time sensitive, detailed tasks related to the loan maintenance and boarding process.
Must be available to work any shift during the hours of operation, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST. Schedule could change based on business need.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Strong telephone etiquette skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to review and interpret complex commercial loan documents
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision and follow specific guidelines

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Previous loan documentation processing experience
  • Previous auto finance industry experience
  • Knowledge of commercial lending regulations
