Liability Management Analyst 2
The candidate will work closely with corporate and investment banking relationship teammates as well as IBCM product partners to originate, pitch and execute debt repurchase, refinancing and restructuring solutions for both investment grade and leveraged corporate issuers. This analyst will support three senior marketers in tracking transactions in market, creating models, developing client pitch materials and transaction execution. Execution experience gained will include interacting with Wells Fargo Securities sales and trading teams, reviewing transaction documentation, preparing marketing materials, and executing transactions in the global debt capital markets. The candidate will gain significant capital market knowledge and high level client exposure. The position provides growth potential, exposure to numerous areas of the investment and corporate bank both on the product and coverage sides, and the opportunity to become a senior capital markets professional. Located in Charlotte, on the private side trading floor.

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
- 1+ year of capital markets industry experience; or 2+ years of financial services industry experience
Other Desired Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, economics or business preferred.
- One year experience as an investment banking, corporate banking or credit analyst also preferred.
- Must be fluent in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be a highly responsive team player who can manage multiple projects and quickly turn around requested analysis with a low error rate.
- Superior analytical and financial modeling skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills are also a must.
- Individual must be able to work in a dynamic, fast paced, and intense work environment.
