The Domestic Corporate Actions team supports critical functions within the Domestic Reorg Team which distributes corporate action entitlements to client accounts and provides quality control and reporting.

In this role, you will:
  • Support overall effectiveness of the team according to plans, monitor daily securities, and cash related production work
  • Supervise daily production activities and staff
  • Guide others on complex production improvement efforts and address procedural impacts
  • Provide back-up for all department functions while providing coaching and feedback to staff
  • Prioritize work and provide daily leadership to teams including the off-shore department employees
  • Contribute to solving corporate governance and address compliance issues for the department
  • Lead the implementation of new or revised processes and procedures
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Point of contact for critical production or escalation issues
  • Maintains written procedures for all departmental functions
  • Coordinates, distributes, and monitors daily security and cash related production work
  • Handles corporate action liabilities
  • Reviews and provides supervisory sign-off on Voluntary offer packets, offer instructions and daily payments
  • Balances and reconciles cash and security allocations on complex corporate actions events
Required Qualification:
  • 6+ years of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Good math skills
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Customer service focus with the ability to listen to customer needs and recommend solutions
  • Willingness to learn and take on special projects
  • Willing to take on additional work if needed
  • Leadership experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Understanding of Corporate Actions, both Reorg and Dividend processing
  • Brokerage operations experience
