About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst...
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate across the CCIBT Finance team, Strategic Finance Partners, CFO and Finance Managers and Central Tech FP&A team to ensure a sound understanding of the forecasting processes, tools and systems is brought to the team particularly as new systems, tools and processes are being rolled at the Tech FP&A level to enable WF Finance Tech Transformation.
- Lead continuous improvement in financial tools and streamline processes within CCIBT Finance team including but not limited to: Month-End close, Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis, Forecasting, R&Os Assessment, Roll forwards, Glide paths, Systems reconciliations, Tech Indirect Expense Month End Allocations and CXO Invoice.
- Lead the production and delivery of Executive Reporting including but not limited to documents and information such as - Business Unit Reviews (BURs), LOB ME Indirect Allocations, CCIBT Month End Financial Results, CCIBT Forecast, Risk and Opportunities, Annual Budget, CXO Invoice.
- Lead Continuous format and presentation improvements within the reporting structure and style, incorporating feedback and enabling transparency into CCIBT financials & Tech Allocations to the CIOs, LOB Senior Leadership team, Tech Finance leadership team etc.
- Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research and reporting as well as financial consulting related to business performance
- Provide companywide advice and technical expertise on matters related to complex financial analysis as well as economic research in support of management decision making functions
- Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning
- Provide support to more experienced professionals in the management of product pricing, portfolio performance, closing research and validation
- Review technical challenges that require evaluation or multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
- Make decisions in maintaining effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards
- Lead implementation of the most complex initiatives impacting multiple lines of business companywide
- Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

- 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of financial reporting experience.
- Current or recent Technology Finance experience is highly desired
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to lead without authority within a matrixed environment
- Ability to analyze metrics and articulate data trends both visually and verbally
- Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
- Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment
- Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
- Ability to present complex material in a digestible, consumable manner to all levels of management
- Ability to research, analyze, document, and present organizational metrics that drive business decisions
- Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Essbase and/or SmartView experience
- Serve as trusted financial advisor providing expert consultative support to all business partners.
- Provide financial transparency to CFO organization, CIOs, Technology Leaders, and Line of Business Partners
- Analyze financial results for both CIO direct spend and Line of Business indirect allocations.
- Prepare financial reviews for month-end, forecast, plan, and bill of IT.
- Maintain and refine key metrics and performance indicators measuring efficiency and articulating financial drivers and strategy to senior management.
- Develop meaningful financial analysis and insights.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and presentations to senior management.
- Lead finance process improvement projects, identify opportunities and recommend improvements for increased process and reporting efficiencies.
- Partner across the firm to develop financial management solutions and toolsets leveraging best practices and creative thinking that allow for consistent/streamlined processes.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness in all financial reporting and presentations
