Department Overview :
Information & Cyber Security (ICS) is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, ICS protects our infrastructure, company data, and customer assets while ensuring alignment with applicable regulations and laws.

About role:
ICS is looking for a highly motivated Information Security Engineer for Security Threat Infrastructure Management - STIM (Endpoint Security) Team part of Engineering and Services group. The STIM delivery organization comprises of:

  • Software Life Cycle Management (Anti Malware Technologies) within the enterprise.
  • Engineering and operational management of all user facing endpoint security services
  • Provide 12x7 support for endpoint security applications
  • Participates in the research, analysis, design, testing and implementation of medium to complex computer network security/protection technologies for company information and network systems/applications.
  • Assists customers in identifying security solutions for the company's networks and virtual private networks, application systems, key public infrastructures, authentication and directory services to ensure the security of the network and confidential data.
  • Assist senior level engineers with periodic vulnerability scans of networks to identify security vulnerabilities and conducts security risk assessments to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and adherence to best practices.
  • Assist in computer security incident response activities and the technical investigations of security-related incidents



Market Skills and Certifications

Responsibilities:

  • Security Software Life Cycle Management (Anti Malware Technologies - Symantec Endpoint Protection, Symantec Protection Engine, Cybereason, EDR) within the enterprise.
  • Identifying, analyzing, deploying new endpoint products. Troubleshooting malware issues and performance issues
  • Engineering and operational management of all user facing endpoint security services
  • Administration of Symantec Endpoint Protection, Symantec Protection Engine, Cybereason and EDR technologies.
  • Provide On call 12x7 support for endpoint security applications
  • Participates in the research, analysis, design, testing and implementation of medium to complex computer network security/protection technologies for company information and network systems/applications.
  • Assists customers in identifying security solutions for the company's networks and virtual private networks, application systems, key public infrastructures, authentication and directory services to ensure the security of the network and confidential data.
  • Assist senior level engineers with periodic vulnerability scans of networks to identify security vulnerabilities and conducts security risk assessments to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and adherence to best practices.
  • Assist in computer security incident response activities and the technical investigations of security-related incidents
  • Work on Incident, Problem, Service Requests & Change Management (ITIL Process)
  • Must have a good understanding of enterprise security solutions and Endpoint Engineering & Administration on Symantec Endpoint Protection, Cybereason and Symantec EDR and Symantec Protection Engine.
  • Adhere to formal engineering disciplines such as Agile / Scrum and hands-on experience with managing server and/or appliance infrastructure, supporting client software, and all phases of engineering lifecycles.
  • Knowledge on Windows operating system fundamentals (Authentication, File system, Registry, Network, User Profiles, etc).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to grasp new tool and technologies quickly.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Candidate with minimum 3- 6 years of experience on enterprise endpoint or host security infrastructure managing end-to-end systems and applications
  • Minimum of the professional level certification for any one-security product.
  • Expertise in Endpoint security products and technologies
  • Expertise in information security industry and regulatory standards, policies, procedures and control systems
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and program management skills. Extremely good in verbal, presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Good negotiation, conflict resolution and decision making skills.
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Technology /Engineering
  • Industry certification - Cyber Security Fundamentals, Product based certifications or Equivalent
Desired Qualifications:
  • Managed service delivery certifications like ITIL, Six Sigma will be beneficial
  • Endpoint Security (vendor or neutral) certifications will be beneficial
  • Specific Technical / Functional skills:
  • Professional level knowledge on info sec product and how they process connectivity.
  • Experience with info sec enterprise management tools
  • Demonstrated enterprise experience in change management / incident management process
  • Experience at on call support for product related issues
  • Hands-on knowledge of advanced/complex product configuration.
  • Strong working knowledge of providing/understanding information security documentation.
