Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.
The Legal Entity Relationship Control team within the Enterprise Cost Allocation and Analytics group is looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented, finance professional to serve as a Legal Entity Cost Consultant supporting the adherence to Regulation W. This position will support and to support compliance with the Transfer Pricing Policy, Resolution & Recovery Planning and statutory and regulatory reporting requirements as well as ensuring accuracy in legal entity to legal entity service relationships. This role will have significant interaction with finance, accounting, tax, regulatory compliance, and risk teams while providing a unique opportunity to be involved in a high-profile enterprise-wide initiative.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:
  • Acquiring a strong working knowledge on Regulation W, Transfer Pricing and various statutory/regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Acquiring a working knowledge of International Tax and International Regulatory requirements as they pertain to cost sharing/cost allocations.
  • Becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the costing requirements of Resolution and Recovery Planning, specifically related to timing, amount, and required documentation of inter-company transactions.
  • Understanding and communicating issues and new developments and providing guidance on suitable corrective actions.
  • Providing guidance to all business lines within Wells Fargo for applicable regulation and policies.
  • Working with management, Legal Department, Compliance and other key partners to proactively promote compliance with applicable regulations and policies.


Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics and reporting; or a BS/BA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting


Desired Qualifications
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting
  • Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Essbase Finance tools for client reporting and analysis


Other Desired Qualifications
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of Regulation W, Transfer Pricing, and/or Resolution and Recovery Planning.
  • Proven self-directed learner with a capacity to learn & excel in new domains/functions.
  • Solid critical thinking with an ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, interrelationships and dependencies in order to craft effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with a track record of influencing others at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with business partners.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Wells Fargo general ledger and accounting systems.
  • Knowledge of Wells Fargo's legal entity structure and business products.
