WFEF provides a full spectrum of financing and lease options for customers' equipment and capital expenditure requirements through Wells Fargo business, commercial and corporate banking channels, relationships with equipment manufacturers and distributors and direct to market. WFEF has Industry and Asset-type specialists devoted to Construction Equipment, Commercial and Specialty Vehicles, Healthcare, Energy/Marine, Solar, Vendor Finance Programs and Corporate/Private Aircraft
This Territory Sales Manager is responsible for the sale of retail finance products and services to agricultural dealers and manufacturers located on the west coast (AZ, CA, WA, OR, ID, NV, CO). The manager is responsible for the territory and selects and develops sources and leads. This position is assisted by an inside sales team and an inside support team. The manager identifies target dealers, builds dealer financing programs, trains dealer's personnel and provides ongoing service and support to the dealer. 50% travel required.
Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
- 8+ years of sales experience
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- Ability to learn sales plans, product lines and services
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Other Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of Sales and/or financing experience within the agricultural equipment industry
- Ability to travel
- Agricultural equipment knowledge
- Experience with a finance company or dealership related to the financing of agricultural equipment.
- Demonstrated success in structuring large volumes of leases and loans within the segment
- Extensive knowledge and experience with dealers within the territory
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
