The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Its guiding principles are to start with the customer, move faster, and partner effectively.

The Virtual Channels Authentication (VCA) Group within the Virtual Channels Organization is responsible for managing channel risks for the virtual channels (online, mobile and phone) and creating and maintaining a secure operating environment for Wells Fargo's 25MM+ online and mobile users, which enables business growth and innovation, mitigates fraud, and maintains customer trust.

The Virtual Channels Authentication (VCA) Platform Operations team is looking for a senior Digital Consultant to act as a liaison among business, technical and vendor organizations.

Primary responsibilities for this role may include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and mitigate complex production issues by partnering with vendor, technology and production support groups of Wells Fargo
  • Support the implementation of Authentication related projects within the Digital environment and/or contact center environment.
  • Participate in Incident Management support and communication for authentication related issues
  • Identify and write business requirements for operational reports
  • Compiles, analyzes and interprets platform trend data
  • Manage performance metrics and generate trending graphs for senior management
  • Mapping of data elements/business rules withinthe fraud and authentication models (vendor & Internal) and map to Wells Fargo system of records
  • Analyze the relevant application/data flows within online banking platforms
  • Write queries to analyze and validate data inproduction environments in the following instances:
    • Analyze data discrepancies identified by Fraud specialists
    • Research data integrity and discrepancies during production issues
    • Data gap analysis for a new fraud model implementation
    • Collaborate with the technology teams to understand the Fraud and Authentication data structures, batch jobs and analyze and document the data gaps and propose data gathering strategies to fix them
Location: Preferred location is San Leandro, CA, but other locations may be considered.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: digital customer experience, digital product/program management, digital platforms, or digital consulting

Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • 5+ years of business systems analysis or design experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to facilitate and lead meetings to reach conclusions, identify tasks, record actions, and achieve results
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
  • Knowledge and understanding of online authentication, authorization, fraud, or security
  • Splunk experience
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
