It all begins with you

In this role, you will:
  • Perform duties as Risk Control Self Assessment(RCSA) Liaison (including Risk Type(RTT) and Operational Risk Business Oversight(ORBO) execution) with a focus on Data Management Shared Services Risk Assessable Units(RAUs) and RAUs with Data Management Risk:
    • Complete all relevant RCSA training to ensure awareness of program requirements
    • Engage with key stakeholders to identify and address risks to RAU execution
    • Execute requirements for RCSA/RAU activities which includes being the primary contact and participating in periodic meeting and communication to Independent Risk Management(IRM) RAU leaders
  • Engage in RAU workshops, including pre and post workshop meetings and activities
    • Engage in IRM breakout sessions to discuss feedback, coordinate with partners, and document escalations
    • Work with RTT, Horizontal, and International SMEs during workshops, with specific questions
    • Invite SMEs to workshops where specific focus topics require their attendance
    • Document challenges in real time and in the tracker during workshops activities
    • Follow up with RTTs on requests and challenges. Provide challenge status and resolution action back to originating IRM SME
    • Calibrate best practices with other RAU owners
  • Perform in depth analysis and provide insights of RCSA results for Data Management Risk to drive action by Front Line risk owners and Independent Risk Management partners
    • Drive ORBO leader updates and awareness of key RCSA themes. Provide lessons learned, topics addressed, etc. from RCSA execution
    • Monitor and analyze Challenge Tracker to ensure timely responses and resolution of challenges during the workshops and consistent ORBO/RTT engagement.
    • Validate that all relevant risks are present, properly assessed, and aligned to mitigating controls. Document activities in post-workshop summary including the RCSA challenge tracker and RCSA Evidence of Review Tracker
    • Monitor RAU schedule for Data Management Risk RAUs and ensure appropriate ORBO and RTT engagement. Coordinate logistics, eliminate RCSA overlaps, etc.
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 5+ years of Operational Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience and knowledge of RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessment)
  • 5+ years of Data Management (big data, data lakes, etc)
  • Significant Business analysis and analytics experience
  • Ability to analyze data to generate insight that provides management with direction
  • Experience sourcing data from multiple sources
  • Preparing and delivering complex data in a way that is concise and understandable
  • Strong knowledge of RCSA, KRIs and other operational risk management principles
  • Problem solving, root cause analysis, monitoring data management issue or similar experience in continuous improvement of processes, controls, data management solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to actively lead large scale, cross functional projects/discussions, work through issues and drive decisions
  • Masters of Business Administration degree
Job expectations: Ability to travel up to 10%
