Our Dealer Services team offers integrated financial services solutions designed primarily for the auto dealer community, providing financing and related services to both dealers and consumers nationwide.

Collector 2 – Early Stage Collections

Primarily responsible for servicing outbound and inbound collection calls related to "Low Risk" accounts, while maintaining good customer relations with the borrower. Exhibits exemplary customer service while initiating outbound calls and receiving inbound calls from customers. Conducts conversations and negotiate with customers regarding resolution of delinquency and education of contractual terms and obligations. Verifies customer personal contact information and accurately documents customer conversation into collection system. Reviews account payment histories and misapplied payments. Other duties as assigned.

Position Hours: Must be available to work any schedule during hours of operation. Department hours are: Monday - Thursday (7 am – 8 pm), Friday (7 am – 7 pm) and every other Saturday (rotating 7 am – 11 am and 9 am -1 pm). Shift to include three day shifts and two night shifts, with every other Saturday. Hours/Days may change due to business needs.

Training Hours: Six week training class, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: collections, customer contact, customer service, or sales environment

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Experience assessing and meeting the needs of customers
  • Customer service focus with the ability to listen to customer needs and recommend solutions
  • Ability to communicate confidentially and professionally

Job Expectations

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
