Department Overview

Manage the technology and shared services vendors of EGS at the relationship level. Work with Engagement Managers and other related stakeholders for the completion of assessments, re-certification, contract issues, SOW/MSA amendments etc. FATCA Processing (Annual Certification and W8 Form)- Legacy Vendors

About the Role

Responsible for implementing and monitoring a risk-based program to identify and mitigate any operational risk that arises from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, systems or external events or may provide oversight of an operational risk program.

Responsibilities:

Participates in and provides consulting and support for projects and initiatives with moderate risk to identify and mitigate operational risk in business activities.
May provide technical support for systems security-related issues. Implements testing strategies and methodologies; evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls; identifies operational risk issues; advises management on risk ratings and evaluates ratings against established policy standards.
May assist in drafting corrective action plans and in managing change. Identifies training opportunities; may provide input to the development of training materials and delivers training.
Drafts reports of findings and recommendations to mitigate risk for operational risk management.
Coordinates production of periodic operational risk performance reports for senior management, including trend analysis and recommendations.
Perform adhoc tasks/projects assigned by the US team
Liaise with ORO's, ISO, BCP, AB&C team, Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Patching program teams and Tech managers in completing the Inherent risk questionnaire, the risk assessments and applicable risk acceptance instructions
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team within the SCM Group and with line of business associates and other support partners
Good interpersonal and communication skills and experience in articulation of risks both verbally and in writing to various levels of staff and management
Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications:

2-4 years of overall experience with a minimum of 2+ Years' experience in Operational Risk/Supply chain management/Vendor Management etc.
Good understanding of 3rd Party Risk Management Concepts, Policies and Procedures
Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to strict deadlines in a fast paced environment
Ability to effectively multi-task and successfully work on several 3PSP projects at the same time.
Proficiency in understanding of banking systems and software
Strong in analysis, decision-making and problem solving skill
High Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
