Department Overview
The Corporate Services team supports the offshoring activities of multiple lines of business and the corporate risk management organization with their needs in current and expected demand for business process risk management.

About the Role
The DMS Business Systems Consultant role will focus on managing activities related to process implementation and execution across Wells Fargo's Enterprise Data Environment (EDE). This role is responsible for implementing and managing processes in alignment with Wells Fargo's Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) Policy to support both the Data Management Solutions (DMS) group and impacted stakeholders across the enterprise, in accordance with the EDE Program strategy. This includes working with EDE stakeholders and subject matter experts to implement the process, onboard users, and manage the impact/change on the business.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the leaders of Wells Fargo Data Management Solutions to execute process implementation for a strategic EDE program to ensure milestones are met, and reinforce adoption of new organizational policies and procedures
  • Implement and manage a variety of EDE processes which impact a wide audience of Wells Fargo team members, including:
    • Data and deliverable change management capabilities
    • Application registration and profiling in the EDE
    • Data consumer awareness capabilities
    • Data owner approvals for data usage
  • Managing adherence to, and reporting status of process implementation milestones, escalating roadblocks as necessary
  • Participate in and author communications and training around processes, to ensure and reinforce stakeholder understanding
  • Interact with colleagues from other lines of business to ensure a "One Wells Fargo" approach to deliver consistent onboarding experience
  • 7+ years of process implementation or process improvement experience
  • 7+ years change management, training, or communications experience
  • 7+ years of project management experience in support of change within a client organization
  • 3+ years of experience working with one or more big data technologies
  • Experience working with technology teams, with a focus on metadata, data quality monitoring, domain management, and master / reference data management
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement initiatives in line with program roadmap objectives

Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications
  • 2 + years of process implementation or process improvement experience
  • Graduation in any discipline
  • 2+ years change management, training, or communications experience
  • 2+ years of project management experience in support of change within a client organization
  • 2+ years of experience working with one or more big data technologies
  • Experience working with technology teams, with a focus on metadata, data quality monitoring, domain management, and master / reference data management
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement initiatives in line with program roadmap objectives
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical subject matter experts on system implementations
  • Experience in program management and oversight
