Responsible for completing daily, mid-month and monthly Customer confirm and statement analysis, identifying procedural and control deficiencies, managing the Vendor maintenance and production processes and recommending and implementing solutions. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors. Process design may require introducing new technology, staff and substantial change to current structure. Develops and leads process design or improvement initiatives, guiding teams across the business. Has process expertise for multiple business groups and can provide analysis to the most complex and volatile business lines. Works on ad-hoc data requests via query or SQL tools where requested by operations teams.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
- 8+ years of operations analysis experience
- FINRA registration including Series 7 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of business processes analysis and enhancing operations to accomplish business objectives
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of financial controls and risk
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Other Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and understanding of SQL
