Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.
This position will report to the Business Architecture Lead of Wholesale Relationship Management enablement within the Wholesale Business Solutions Data & Insights group of WCOO. This role will be responsible for ensuring successful implementation planning, solution preparation, delivery to the field, and measurement of initiatives that are the most highly complex and strategic in nature.

  • Responsible for leading cross functional/virtual teams to plan and execute a variety of business architecture and related projects / initiatives that are larger in scope and complexity. Examples might include, but are not limited to: Sales Process / operational workflow / data architecture / Journey mapping, process improvement and system redesign.
  • Provides subject matter expertise and consultants with analysts across the enterprise on connected initiatives in the transformation and technology rationalization domains.
  • Facilitates with cross functional business partners, recognizing the significance of competing priorities and strategies, and adjusting as necessary.
  • Ensures plans/programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations.
  • Manages both directly and matrix resources whose functions include: development of plans, process impact and redesign, user testing, change management, communication, training, delivery
  • Collaborating with LOB subject matter experts and technology partners to understand business application needs and recommend solutions to deliver the desired business outcomes.
  • Validating business and functional requirements, and ensuring needs are understood by the technology partners responsible for the development of solutions.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Wholesale banking and Wells Fargo business tools
  • 6+ years of business analysis and system implementation experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to effectively balance many priorities simultaneously
  • Experience in software development projects and with agile methodologies
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce or other CRM technologies
  • Experience with business modeling, data analysis, experience defining use cases/user stories
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in large multi-LOB financial services institutions
  • Strong project planning, implementation readiness and organizational skills
  • Experience developing and leading User Acceptance Testing plans and execution.
  • Experience developing and managing group wide capacity planning functions.
  • Successful track record of deployment and adoption of new platforms/capabilities
  • Proven ability in partnering, collaborating and building relationships with a breadth of stakeholders and constituents including line of business and functional leaders across a complex, matrixed environment
  • Experience conducting road mapping and journey mapping sessions
  • Experience managing appropriate risk and making sound decisions
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
