Department Overview:
CACHE (Capability & Competence Hub at EGS) is the capability hub of EGS providing on demand staffing for EIT@EGS LOBs.
CACHE mainly caters to term based assignments in both generic and niche skills.
As we speak CACHE is spread across all LOBs in EIT@EGS and have some presence in Business & Risk services.
CACHE Value proposition: Help LOBs in staffing as well as building competencies, Knowledge retention, and better Risk management in a cost Effective manner.
Job Level Description:

  • Is accountable for providing flawless production support by the team, zero missing SLAs & Customer impacting incidents due to manual slippages
  • Is responsible for effective troubleshoot advanced network, server and application issues independently and provide alternative solutions
  • Adopt/adhere/improve the process towards effective tracking of support parameters like, tickets/CRs inventory, TAT, RCA, resource planning etc for optimal and effective team execution
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in recommending newer technology practices, understanding current standards and upgrading systems as required by market and organization frameworks
  • Plan & prepare the monthly metrics and get reviewed with EGS and EIT LoB Managers
Essential Skills:
  • Lead & coordinate with the team and distribute assignment along with batch support activities. Track & ensure timely completion of the assignments
  • Effectively collaborate with the ETS CoE partners (Delivery, DBA, Cloud and Architecture) in the effective resolution of a given problem and deliver on time
  • Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides using different tools like Confluence and JIRA.
  • Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan
Desirable Skills:
  • Good Knowledge on Webserver , Application server and Middleware Technologies
  • Worked on Production support Tools like Splunk, Appdynamics, Remedy etc..
  • Having Knowledge on Filenet and Kofax would be an added advantage.
Good Knowledge on Production support processes like ITIL
Education Qualification Required:
  • 4 Yr.'s Bachelor's Degree in Technology (or) Graduation/Post Graduation in Computer science.
