Department Overview

Capital Markets Technology portfolio consists of Technology solutions for Primary Markets /Investment Banking/GIB Municipal Products/Asset Backed Finance, various Secondary Markets Trading verticals (like Equities, Fixed Income, and Commodities etc.) and Institutional Investor Services (like Prime Brokerage, Futures Commission Merchant Services).Technology group is also organized as cross product horizontals (including Electronic Trading Services, Risk & Compliance Services, and Funding, collateral and liquidity management and Operations technology).

About the role.

This position will primarily be an individual contributor enhancing/maintaining the existing application.
The team member will be part of Production support team for Capital Market.

Role and Responsibilities

- Monitor production batches against SLA's/OLA's. Follow-up with upstream systems/vendors for any feed delays. Handle any queries addressed to support team
- Perform application health Checks and other periodic check outs as per documentation
- Communicate batch issues and other application issues to all the impacted stakeholders
- Work with multiple teams (Development/ Infrastructure/Vendors/Downstream partners) on incident triage calls
- Implement application releases and other changes on weekend
- Identify improvement opportunities and automate them. Write scripts to automate repeated requests

Essential Qualification

- Bachelor Degree with 3 to 7 Years of experience Unix Commands, Shell scripting and Autosys
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Good understanding of Incident/Problem and Change management practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Monitor the health of application through available monitoring tools like ITRS/Netcool
- Perform root-cause analysis of production issues

- ITIL certifications
- Investment banking certification
- ITRS configuration knowledge
- Perl scripting
- Experience in working with tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, HPOO

Market Skills and Certifications

Mandatory Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
