Leader Job Description

Job Summary:

The role of the Leader is to serve as the anchor and facilitator in community-based meetings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the group meeting discussion ensuring all members feel included, involved and invited to participate
  • Demonstrates active listening
  • Inspires members to make positive changes and celebrates progress towards goals
  • Serves as Weight Watchers Program Expert for members
  • Leads meeting room team to deliver excellent member experience
  • Establishes rapport with members through one-on-one interaction, group facilitation and consistent leadership
  • Serves as program Role Model by successfully living the Weight Watchers Program and demonstrating benefits
  • Has knowledge and understanding of Weight Watchers tools and digital tools, including Program materials, Apps and technical tools, and can help educate members
  • Prepares for meeting Facilitation by understanding weekly topic and relevance to member success
  • Champions the Weight Watchers Program
  • Delivers excellent meeting experience to drive member referrals
  • Has responsibility for meeting attendance growth
  • Possesses selling skills, identifies member needs and recommends Weight Watchers products and tools
  • Manages tally reconciliation and timely bank deposits

 Job Requirements:

  • Achieved and maintained (or continued loss) for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks
    • 10% weight loss or healthy BMI weight with minimum five pound loss (if joined outside the healthy BMI range); or,
    • five pound loss (if joined within healthy BMI range) on Weight Watchers program
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and web-based applications
  • Ownership and active use of smartphone and regular access to Internet-enabled computer or tablet
  • Superior organizational, communication, customer service, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Facilitation skills, team leadership, and ability to build community

Receptionist Job Description

Job Summary:

The role of the Receptionist is to welcome Members as they enter the meeting and to provide guidance and motivation to help them in achieving their personal weight loss goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves as first face of Weight Watchers and establishes baseline rapport with members
  • Serves as Program Role Model by demonstrating program success
  • Welcomes and engages member into the Weight Watchers meeting room experience
  • Consults with Members to help determine personal weight loss goals
  • Enrolls new members into Weight Watchers program
  • Provides support/consultation during weekly member weigh-ins
  • Connects members to Leader and other members
  • Possesses strong technical skills and is able to process members through computer system and troubleshoot as needed
  • Has knowledge and understanding of Weight Watchers digital tools, including Apps and technical tools, and can help educate members
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Weight Watchers Program and provides members with accurate information
  • Has the ability to learn and successfully process paper tally reconciliation
  • Possesses selling skills, identifies member needs and recommends Weight Watchers products
  • Processes meetings/members through computerized system (CHAMP, MEG)
  • Solves member/system issues using provided resources, including utilizing Help Desk and Customer Service line
