About the role:

The Project Manager for Accounting and Shared Service will be the driver for all technology projects related to D365 ERP platform, Treasury systems and all accounting related functions. The ideal candidate performs duties with broad latitude for judgment. Incumbents independently perform project planning; business process analysis; and make process and configuration changes to one or more operating functions and/or case management systems; and perform strategic business analysis. Solves organizational information problems and requirements by analyzing requirements; designing computer programs; recommending system controls and protocols.

What you'll do:

  • Create projects that include a strategic plan, project plan, resource requirement, timing, budget and ROI
  • Conducting user and stakeholder interviews to analyze needs for new and enhanced functionality
  • Documenting feature requests made by business stakeholders
  • Working with IT resources to establish complete specifications for the desired feature
  • Creating business requirements documents, user stories and use cases to support application development requests
  • Analyzing and documenting current systems and processes as currently implemented
  • Collaborating with Project Managers to develop project plans
  • Managing communication to project teams, vendors, and key stakeholders
  • Assisting the Quality Assurance team in creating and executing test plans
  • Identifying project risks and working with the Project Manager on response strategies
  • Documenting product defects and helping to determine root causes
  • Writing release notes and user documentation to support product releases
  • Providing training to users as needed
  • Performing related duties as assigned

What you'll need:

  • Past project management of an ERP or Accounting platform implementation
  • Background in Agile development methodologies
  • Past project management of custom software development projects
  • Experience using Microsoft Project and Azure DevOps for project planning and requirements tracking
  • Comfort working in a matrixed management environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
