Shift Hours:

Sunday: 2:30PM-11PM

Monday: 9AM-5:30PM

Tuesday: 9AM-5:30PM

Wednesday: 9AM-5:30PM

Thursday: 9AM-5:30PM

Friday & Saturday: OFF

Basic Overview: The Shipping Material Handler will do a cross training between the packing room and consolidation. Once training is complete employee will then be assigned a department based on their skill and the need of the company. In the packing room you are responsible for efficiently and accurately packing customer orders while maintaining quality and speed to ensure customer order is processed in a timely and secure manner. In consolidation you are responsible for efficiently and accurately picking and prepping customer orders while maintaining quality and speed to ensure customer order is processed in a timely and secure manner.

Job Responsibilities – Packing Room:

• Packing and billing orders to ensure that customers receive the order intact in as short time frame and accurate as possible while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Able to work at a fast pace.
• Downsizing packaging so that shipping costs are minimal without sacrificing the quality and insurance that the product will be delivered without damages to the customer.
• Safely operating and maintaining warehouse equipment to carry out job duties to ensure a safe work environment.
• Keeping work zone clean and orderly so that warehouse is a safe and clean work environment.
• Communicating with warehouse shipping supervisor with any issues or concerns that arise regarding work duties.
• Meet and maintain set standards as specified by both supervisor and company.
• Performing other duties and tasks not listed as requested by the shipping supervisor.

Job Responsibilities – Consolidation:

• Sorting items into specified order to complete and send into the packing room.
• Consolidators must maintain efficiency and an adequate speed of keeping the belt moving and clear.
• Safely operating and maintaining warehouse equipment to carry out job duties to ensure a safe work environment.
• Keep work zone clean and orderly so that warehouse is a safe and clean work environment.
• Complete the following tasks when all orders have been consolidated and there are no orders on the belt: cut down boxes, empty cardboard and trash from bins and packing room, clear aisles of all debris, gather large boxes for packers, weekly assigned cleaning tasks.
• Communicate with warehouse shipping supervisor and team leader with any issues or concerns that arise regarding work duties.
• Performing other duties and tasks not listed as requested by the shipping supervisor.

Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 to 100lbs
• Must be able to push and pull up 150lbs
• Must be able to constantly bend, reach, and, stand throughout entire shift
