We’re tackling a wide array of fascinating, incredibly difficult problems - like helping a massive, rapidly growing global customer base efficiently find the perfect products from our catalog of 10M items (with the majority of traffic on mobile), building 2-sided marketplaces to connect consumers with interior designers and contractors, and leveraging A/R and Computer Vision to help customers visualize products in their space. We have a modern tech stack including sophisticated capabilities around AI, data science, multivariate testing and personalization. As a Senior Product Manager of Media, you will own the portfolio of products that empower our suppliers and advertisers to promote their brands to Wayfair customers. This includes traditional media placements, such as banner ads and text links, as well as media innovations that have yet to be defined. You’ll be responsible for evaluating our current offering and identifying opportunities to make us better for Wayfair customers and suppliers while driving business goals. You’ll lead your team in building a multi-year roadmap based on data-driven insights and rapidly executing on your plan in a way that scales exponentially. You will wear multiple hats as you partner with stakeholders from dozens of fields and experience levels. 

What You’ll Do

  • Create a product vision and strategy for media that balances supplier needs and goals
    with Wayfair business objectives
  • Build and maintain roadmaps for the Media product and evangelize your vision for the
    Media product across the broader Wayfair org
  • Lead a dedicated product team consisting of engineers, analysts, and product designers
  •  Expand and optimize the media footprint to grow your business exponentially
  • Evaluate 3 rd party advertising networks and vendors and coordinate technical integrations
    and media platform improvements
  • Define and monitor the impact of your product and communicate the results across the

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Direct technical experience with ad servers and/or eCommerce
  • Experience leading agile software development environments
  • Expert ability at translating data into insights that power a road map
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at the senior leadership
    level, as well as with cross-functional teams
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for customer focused innovation
  • Masters degree with strong academic record (strong preference for quantitative, scientific, or technical backgrounds)
