Senior Manager, Global Benefits and Wellness

As our talent community continues to grow, Wayfair is committed to developing and offering a wellness strategy that supports our values, priorities, and changing business needs across the globe.  Our Global Talent Management team is looking for an innovative and analytical Senior Benefits and Wellness Manager to lead the way. This person will be responsible for spearheading Wayfair’s efforts to craft, implement, and communicate global benefits, policies and perks, ensuring that Wayfair continues to attract and retain the highest caliber talent in the industry.

Prior experience in managing a global benefits program is welcome, but not required. Successful candidates are self-starters who think outside the box and utilize data to make decisions. This position requires you to be highly collaborative and communicative, as you work closely with senior partners across our Talent, Finance and Legal departments, domestically and abroad.  People management skills are also critical, as this hire is responsible for managing a team of direct reports (2-3) to support our benefits and wellness strategy.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop the strategic design and implementation of our benefits and perks offerings
  • Benchmark and assess benefit programs, plans and policies to weigh tradeoffs and determine optimal employee offerings
  • Identify metrics for gauging employee utilization, impact, and satisfaction, and report out on findings regularly
  • Monitor and report market trends with the goal of understanding gaps and costs associated with potential shifts to more competitive offerings
  • Collaborate with Wayfair’s Finance and Legal teams to ensure feasibility of costs, risks, and implications of legislative changes so that Wayfair is compliant with all benefit laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to drive high participation in global plans
  • Evaluate and negotiate with third party vendors, brokers and providers, with a focus on costs and the highest level of service to Wayfair employees across the globe
  • Serve as primary contact with benefit brokers and providers on all related issues, including monthly and annual review of offerings, cost analyses, and plan design changes to ensure the highest level of satisfaction
  • Develop a global approach to wellness and evaluate the ROI on all programs

 

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in human capital, insurance, or related field
  • Ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, data-driven business environment
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills
  • A high level of flexibility and adaptability
  • Experience or interest in benefits and wellness
  • Proven ability to work with diverse employee populations and evaluate varying need
