Senior Financial Analyst, Accounts Receivable

Who We Are

Wayfair’s Finance group is looking for a Senior Analyst of Accounts Receivable to join our team! This is a fast-paced position at a growing public company. This person will work closely with team members across various departments on all aspects of Accounts Receivable, including internal/external financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and system/process improvements. This is a dynamic role and offers exposure to many areas of accounting and operations.


What You'll Do

  • Help build scalable processes to support high growth to manage receivables, payments, analytics and reporting
  • Analyze and identify trends/patterns in large amounts of data related to our revenue, which has been growing at close to 40% year over year
  • Analyze outstanding revenue that we’ve failed to collect to identify issues and determine the best financial and operational attack plans
  • Determine new sources of data we should be tracking and analyzing to improve our revenue collections process and oversight
  • Work cross-functionally and partner with other business groups at Wayfair – e.g., Sales, Product Management, Payments, Fraud and Engineering - to help them drive their business results and understand the underlying drivers of AR
  • Work with teammates to identify, analyze, and resolve order payment issues
  • Review department processes and procedures and recommend areas for improvement on an ongoing basis


What You'll Need

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline –-oriented environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and financial troubleshooting skills
  • High level of comfort with Excel
  • Able to succeed in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes and procedures and adapt local practices to global standards
