Account Executive (AE)

Wandering Bear Coffee is looking for an enthusiastic, competitive and personable Account Executive (AE) to grow our cold brew coffee office delivery business. This person will be responsible for driving revenue by closing new sales opportunities created for them by the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team.

We’re looking for a natural salesperson – the type of person that instinctively convinces everyone around them to try and buy all the products they love themselves. This person will join a small team (under 15 people) and will work closely with the company’s founders. They will be incentivized to grow a critical line of business, and will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience building a fast-growing start-up in an exciting beverage category.

The sales process for this channel is largely conducted over phone and email, so to succeed in this role you must feel comfortable reaching out directly to potential customers and passionately selling them on Wandering Bear.

Compensation for this role will consist of a base salary + sales commission.

Key Responsibilities:
• Through mix of outbound emailing and calling, engage potential customers to help them design the best subscription program for their office
• Educate potential customers about Wandering Bear, conveying our brand values & voice, sharing product & service details
• Secure orders / subscriptions from new office customers
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and detail of all account information in company’s CRM software

Basic requirements / qualifications:
• Degree from a 4-year University
• 2 years of professional experience in an inside sales / account executive role (B2B sales a plus)
• Desire to build a career in sales / become a sales leader
• Exceptional communication skills (phone, email, in-person)
• Eagerness to regularly meet and beat performance targets
• Strong planning & organizational skills
• Must love cold brew coffee
