What you'll do...
- Walmart's Expectation for Each Service Event: Prior to mowing grass areas belonging to Walmart, remove debris and trash out of grass areas, planted areas, mulch/rock beds, fence lines, and against the building. Complete all mowing as per Company's guidelines. Sidewalk curb is edged and weed free on every service event. Weeds are manually or chemically removed from turf grass, mulch/rock beds, sidewalks and parking lot as needed. Ensure trees and shrubs less than 14ft, are pruned and shaped as needed in accordance with Company's guidelines. Ensure trees and shrubs have a 7 foot clearance to pedestrian walks and 8 foot clearance where tree canopy encroaches into vehicle routes and maintaining appropriate visibility at all vehicle intersections. Notify department manager of the need to replace dead shrubs and trees upon discovery. Sidewalks, islands and parking lots blown free of debris after every completed maintenance event. Remove all debris from location as per local ordinances. Ensure all drip irrigation lines are covered at all times preventing trip hazard. Evaluate irrigation and report any leaks, broken irrigation heads or drip lines to department manager.
- Other duties include facilities maintenance as directed by department manager.
- Must have working knowledge of hand tools, power tools and powered equipment. Possess technical ability to perform maintenance and minor repairs of said equipment.
- Manages work orders and routine maintenance schedules by completing required written and electronic information (for example, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs); requesting materials and parts for maintenance or repair work; recording parts usage: complying with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and guidelines; ensuring quality work is completed that complies with federal, state, and local regulations and codes; unloading and storing equipment; and transporting equipment between facilities. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

Minimum Qualifications: Vocational or Technical certification and 1 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade or 2 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade. Valid Driver's License. Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
