What you'll do...
Develops, manages and leads the execution of strategic sourcing strategies and financial analysis supporting the goods not for resale (GNFR) categories of spend. Provides subject matter expertise to procurement and business partners. Creates and communicates category market data, changes and trends.
This role will work closely with the Marketing teams to support key business initiatives. An understanding of and negotiation experience with the following categories are preferred; strategic and creative agency relationships, media, content creation, print production, direct mail, market research, social, demos, events, promotional items, talent and influencers. Ability to find opportunities to optimize costs across the company as well as creating efficiencies in partnerships. Identifying and implementing cost savings initiatives while improving the quality of our supplier/agency base to optimize performance.
Manages teams and works cross-functionally to accomplish business objectives relative to administrating and negotiating contracts and strategic sourcing. Communicates customer goals, objectives, and strategy to cross-functional leadership and project teams; providing guidance on and approving implementation method and prioritization in order to maximize resource utilization; and anticipating and mitigating potential risk to the company. Participate as a subject matter expert on future procurement and contracting program developments; and represent Global Procurement on cross-company teams when projects are being developed to change or enhance the process.
Develops, manages, and leads the contract administration program by creating, negotiating, and approving goods and services contracts for the division; monitoring supplier performance; working with existing and new suppliers, internal business partners, and Legal to coordinate the review and approval of exceptions to contract language; making contract decisions for the department; working with business unit leaders to ensure the program meets their needs from a budget and process standpoint; identifying and eliminating bottlenecks and problem areas; working cross-functionally to develop process enhancements; leading teams to incorporate solutions; representing the department on initiatives related to contract administration; and ensuring cross-company programs are tailored to meet the needs of the division.
Manages collaborative efforts to attain adequate supply capacity in support of new technologies and products by evaluating cost impact variables for program changes; implementing sustainability initiatives; driving the development and implementation of new and innovative products and technology; and evaluating product life cycle cost.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy. Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 4 years' experience in supply chain, transportation, logistics, or related area OR 6 years' experience in supply chain, transportation, logistics, or related area.
