Position Description
Champions a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a product area in support of corporate goals and objectives Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects. Drives the product discovery process for large complex, and/or ambiguous projects. Manages vendor relationships. Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Supports product implementation and deployment for large, complex, and ambiguous projects.
The role is on the Content Acquisition Team, part of the area responsible for the development and management of the Walmart Product Catalog. The acquisition of content (Product attributes including Images, Descriptions, Titles etc.) is accomplished by purchasing available data, leveraging internal content studios and working with suppliers to ingest the best possible content.
The role will be to improve the overall quality of the product information in the Walmart Catalog, for a subset of categories.
Develop content quality guidelines for assigned product types. (Outcome is an externally published style guide & internal validation document). Align with the Merchants and Private Brand Product developers' on content expectations Engage / Educate Suppliers to drive adoption of the Style Guides Monitor the improvement of Product data and adjust artifacts and process as required Work directly with offshore resources to ensure incoming product attributes are correctly validated and curated.
Performance will be measured on:
Quality of the product data coming into the catalog as measured though an audit Delivery of Validation Documents and Style Guides per plan Amount of rework required to published documents Adoption and adherence to Style Guides by Suppliers to Walmart

Minimum Qualifications;
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology or related field and 4 years' experience in Marketing, Merchandising or information technology within the past 10 years OR 7 years' experience in Marketing, Retail Merchandising, Information technology or related field within the past 10 years OR Master's degree in Marketing, Retail, Information Technology or related field and 2 years' experience in Marketing, Merchandising or related field within the past 10 years.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
2+ Years' Experience in operational environments, where production is measured with KPI's
2+ Years' experience with Product Data, Item Attributes and Product Content
Experience in Design, Customer Experience, Data Analytics & Visualization.
