Partnership Specialist III - Strategic Account Manager

What you'll do... Analysis and Reporting: Performs ongoing, in-depth analysis using a variety of reports. Analyzes retail partner pricing, rules and sales data to make recommendations for enhancing and/or optimizing performance. Tracks account performance against targets/industry benchmarks. Account Strategy Development: Provides input into development of account strategy for a category by analyzing pricing, rules and sales data. Recognizes data trends and makes recommendations for change and/or mechanisms to improve sales efforts (e.g., proposing additional value-added services). Collaborates with retail and distributor partners and provides input into actionable account strategies. Relationship and Account Management: Serves as a primary point of contact between the organization and retail partners and brands for the category. Answers the most complex questions from retail partners related to purchase order reconciliations, product recalls and first-party sales operations processes and consideration of third-party sellers. Collaborates with partners across a range of issues and works to expand/deepen relationships within current retail partners and brands. Identifies and leads the development of a variety of self-service tools and features on the support site (e.g., FAQs, Tips & Tricks, Instructional Videos, Webinars) Partner Orientation and Integration: Demonstrates strong understanding of Walmart's value proposition. Researches and documents integration requirements for highly complex partnerships. Supports Partnership Managers with source and close for highly complex partnerships. Performance Optimization Action Planning: Reviews, understands and provides input into the development of action and engagement plans to improve partnership performance for a category. Considers actions to improve performance. Collaboration: Collaborates with Category Specialists, Site Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, etc. to solve retail partner questions and issues within a category. People Development: Coaches less experienced team members and provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge and work performance. Mentors less experienced Partnerships Specialists. Supports training for Partnership Specialists. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
