Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Join the Walmart Health & Wellness Legal Team to partner with business and compliance leadership on fast-paced, healthcare-focused operations and strategy for the world's largest company. This Lead Counsel role is critical to Walmart's health and wellness strategic initiatives, including primary care, dental, optical, behavioral health, telehealth and others. You will provide regulatory guidance for operations, transactions, mergers and acquisitions, investigations and litigation, and collaborate with cross functional teams to mitigate legal and compliance risk, to include interacting with government agencies and regulatory bodies.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Creating strategies for the Company's Health and Wellness Division, including its Walmart Health business line
  • Developing best practices and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
  • Providing legal support for healthcare-focused transactions and projects
  • Successfully collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

Law degree from an accredited law school and 6 years' experience in law.
2 years' experience leading cross-functional teams.
