Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
  • Understanding the solutions we provide, knowing the customer and partners you work with. Establishing good relationship with internal teams, customers, partners and the ecosystem
  • Offering the right Technologies to our customers focusing on business outcomes to help our customers to achieve their challenges and to reach their targets
  • Orchestrating the different functions within the organization to offer and deliver the right solutions
  • Setting your own strategy in your territory aligning with corporate strategy, plan for success and execute the plan in a predictable way in delivering your targets

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
  • Take responsibility for driving new business and developing the territory.
  • Execute your plan to increase our footprint in your territory
  • Open communication with management and BUs regarding your account strategies, forecasts, methodologies and ask support for customer engagements.
  • Establish and position VMware as a thought leader and drive team collaboration with internal resources such as technical, marketing, and professional services to support customer needs, sales strategy, and overall business growth.
  • Facilitate collaborative engagements between partners and customers to drive incremental revenue, strong relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction whilst maintaining alignment with the business direction.
  • Use Value Selling sales methodologies including VMware sales tools and process

The hiring manager for this is Meir Meir, Sales Manager - Commercial Segment, who leads a team of 5 Account Manager in Israel. He has been with VMware for 5 years bringing a focus to customer transformation and centricity, team culture, collaborative partnering and "Customer First" approach as One VMware to help every client.
