Job Role and Responsibility
As part of the modern applications platform R&D engineering team, opportunity to work on technology Kubernetes and work on Tanzu portfolio to help customers build, run and manage their most important applications. You will collaborate with Product Management and engineering teams to design, automate and implement scale & performance tests for Tanzu Suite and deliver easy use & high scalable product to market. You will need to investigate feature requirements that have been identified by product manager and work with engineering team to deliver Automation and test suite for the features with high quality in time.
Required skills
- 4-15 years of experience in building automation frameworks using Java/Python and support tools
- Expert on the plan, automating, executing and analyzing Scale and performance tests,
- Having good knowledge of Git, TestNG, Cucumber and result dashboard.
- Exposure to object-oriented design principles is desired and worked on RESTAPI & SOAP
- Expert in building CICD pipeline.
- Strong experience with container, Kubernetes,/Tanzu, registry
- Hands-on experience or knowledge in Virtualization and cloud concepts will be an added advantage.
- Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Should have passion about quality, a good understanding of the best practices, SDLC/SQLC processes, QE methodologies, detail-oriented, and good follow-through skill.
- Ability to learn about software products by reading manuals, installing and managing various test automation and execution software used in the lifecycle of Quality Engineering
- Analyze functional requirements for the product; understand customer use case scenarios and build the test suite
- Define test strategies; Test planning activities and execution.
- Reproduce complex Customer problems and test customized releases to Customers.
- Participate in bug triage activities; manage bugs, drive the activities for the bug to get a closure
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering
