Job Role and Responsibility:
We are searching for a talented, dynamic, hands-on application administrator with middleware technologies. You will work closely with a team that manages SOA/OSB, RMQ, API Gateway servers, and play a key role in ensuring the best possible customer experience.
In this role, you will support critical middleware infrastructure applications which have 99.99% SLA.
- Support and manage applications like. SOA, OSB, RMQ, KONG gateway
- Work closely with the development team and provide solutions for infrastructure requirements.
- Communicate with internal VMware teams, both onshore and offshore, VMware customers and partners.
- Work independently and effectively within and across teams
Required Skills:
- 7-10 years overall experience in supporting middleware technologies or relevant experience
- 3 to 5 years working with SOA/ Oracle Fusion Middleware / OSB, / Weblogic, etc.
- Design and installation experience on SOA, RMQ and Gateway servers
- Exposure to Kubernetes or any Cloud Based Container technology is desired
- Solid problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Expertise on Java Virtual memory (JVM) heap size performance fine-tuning
- Direct experience with configuring and tuning JDBC connections
- Automation of day to day activities by using Python/Shell desired
- Solid knowledge and demonstrated support of Linux RedHat server, BIND DNS, ESX Server, Virtual Center, NFS, LDAP, and SAN/NAS storage systems in a virtualized environment
- Solid problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Expertise on Java Virtual memory (JVM) heap size performance fine-tuning
- Direct experience with configuring and tuning JDBC connections
- Solid verbal and written communications skills, working effectively with IT support teams, management, and internal users
- Experience with MySQL, Oracle databases, Linux environment will be preferred
- Works well both independently and as part of a team; attention to detail is essential for this position
