Intern, VMware Global Government Relations and Public Policy

VMware is the global leader in cloud infrastructure & digital workspace technology. Our Global Government Relations and Public Policy (GGR&PP) Team lives and breathes Japanese politics and policy making. Our team offers a full range of government relations and related services, from policy and issue monitoring, stakeholder mapping and in-depth intelligence, to stakeholder outreach, advocacy and public affairs campaigns.

We are currently looking for a dynamic and bilingual intern to join our international team in on a variety of policy-related projects, including policy research, document creation, and event preparation. Successful candidates will assist Director and Head of Japan Public Policy at VMware K.K.

Suitable interns must have a passion for policy and public affairs. An internship at VMware can help students bridge the gap between university and the working world. During the program, interns will gain practical experience in public affairs and government relations, which will benefit them in their career development. - Only a full time student eligible

- Business level spoken and written English and Japanese Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team

- Keen interest in Japanese policy, politics and international business

- Prior knowledge of IT field is NOT required

- Can work full time or part time, 10:00 - 18:00 (work hours may be negotiated)

- Duration of Internship: At least two months preferred

- It's a paid internship
