As an Client Solutions Representative ( Professional Services Sales ), you work with Americas Professional Services to find opportunities and maximize customer utilization. In this role, you will drive and enable selling VMware Professional Services across the region as part of our Professional Services team.

We are looking for leaders that excel in high profile roles as a recognized authority in answering technical questions, following up on leads and closing deals. You will lead cross-functional teams to develop winning proposals and submissions and drive Sales of Professional Services to achieve bookings and revenue targets. You will be empowered to evangelize disruptive technologies, replacing competitors, and protecting the installed base. We provide hardware equipment, quick and comprehensive expense reporting and reimbursement. Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate professional relationships by consulting and motivating all levels of business
  • Identify relationships with key partners and 3rd parties involved selling of Software Defined Datacenter (SDDC) and End User Computing (EUC), solutions
  • Generate new leads and opportunities
  • Negotiate terms, pricing and contracts
  • Report on revenue, opportunity forecasts, and pipelines
  • Identify challenges accurately and in a timely manner
  • Align with appropriate delivery teams to support follow-on business from one delivery project to another

Requirements:
  • 5+ years Consulting, Professional Services sales or related technology sales space
  • Detailed expertise with virtualization, storage, security, networking and/or data center technologies
  • Deep understanding of budget cycles, procurement processes, and contracts
  • Marketing, coordinating and submitting winning proposals (RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs)
  • Validated expertise in selling services aligned with the needs of the customers needs to drive sales and close deals
  • Excellent written, verbal and formal presentation skills
  • Versatile influencing skills with different audiences (from technical implementers through CTO/CIO levels)
  • Ability to coordinate, navigate and motivate the range of internal/external influencers to select and implement virtualization and mobility solutions
  • Knowledge of the specific strengths and weaknesses of key competitors in the virtualization, end-user computing, mobility, and security industries
  • Experience selling into Enterprise level (Fortune 500) accounts desired
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • BS in Computer Science or other technical field highly desired; related experience considered in lieu of formal technical training.
