Senior MTS - vCenter Server
VMware's vCenter Server team is seeking a strong software engineer to participate in the design and implementation of the next generation architecture. As the vSphere product support for cloud evolves and an ecosystem of solutions grows around it, a new architecture is needed to handle the software lifecycle management needs of thousands of hosts and millions of virtual machines.

- Design and develop the next generation vCenter Server, the core control and systems-management software for VMware's virtualization products
- Work with QE engineers and ensure software testability, quality and stability
- A solid foundation in computer science, with deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded programming, and software design
- Strong object-oriented skills with C++
- Understanding of system architecture, including processors, storage and networking is highly desirable
- Comfortable developing for both the Windows and Linux environments
- Excellent communication skills and must be able to interface with customers as necessary
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of distributed systems programming
- Persuing Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputable university
