We are seeking candidates for the backend of a Big Data Analytics technology. The data platform provides indexing, storage, query and analytics using distributed computing and machine learning technique.

The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, is well versed in foundational aspects of CS (computer science) - e.g. data structures, and has deep understanding of any CS aspect of choice – e.g. research or advanced projects. The ideal candidate has passion for quality, excitement for solving problems, and the urge to deliver great software to our customers.

Responsibilities include working collaboratively in a small team setting, designing, implementing and delivering various aspects of a scalable distributed Big Data system.

Required Skills:

  • Fluency in a major programming language such as Java, C#, C++, or alike.
  • Understanding of Operating Systems, networking and distributed system design.
  • Experience with Linux and OSS.
  • BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience required.

Desired skills:

  • Experience developing and designing distributed storage systems.
  • Familiarity or experience developing Machine Learning algorithms.
  • Experience in the software security space.
  • Experience or familiarity with Big Data visualization tools and methods.
  • Experience in collaborative team work shipping multiple releases of software products to customers.
