Sr. Business Planning Analyst

We are currently seeking a Sr. Business Planning Analyst at our Irvine, CA headquarters.

Business Planning:

  • Lead for organizing, coordinating and executing category price roadmap initiatives
  • Support day-to-day pricing requirements and communication with the BP, Sales and Finance teams
  • Support negotiations for price path and business terms, P&L for assigned Category
  • Coordinate promotional planning at the SKU level with Sales Ops to help drive sell in, sell out and profit goals
  • Cross-functional team support for various routine & ad-hoc assignments
  • Ensure adequate ODM production capacity and flexibility for changing demands
  • Supplier performance measurement and improvement (cost, delivery, quality, flexibility, etc.)
  • TV category team representative for facilitation of RFI & NPI processes

Business Analytics:

  • Develop independent research and analysis to support strategic business decisions
  • Conduct market analysis to assess sales volume, market share and competitive situation to support pricing strategies
  • Develop and publish business critical reporting, dashboards, and KPIs used to support forecasting processes and marketing activities
  • Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs

The ideal candidate will:

  • Coordinate and execute price roadmap communication across all departments
  • Support of adherence & execution of roadmap and cost validation with Sales, Finance and Business Planning teams
  • Facilitate weekly/routine and ad hoc pricing meetings with internal cross-functional teams to review status and open items
  • Support negotiations of price path and business terms, P&L for assigned Category
  • Provide scheduled and ad hoc reports for management and ODMs as needed
  • Support category facilitation of RFI & NPI processes

Required Skills

  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of sales, products, finance, and supply chain functions are a plus
  • Knowledge of forecasting tools and market data are a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and draw valid conclusions
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to effectively relate with multiple levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Proficient in Microsoft products with advanced Excel skills

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, sales, product management related position in consumer electronics industry preferred
  • An undergraduate degree with an emphasis in a related field of study is required
  • Ability to drive clear objectives, identify priorities, collaborate with business partners to streamline business and support Business Planning Managers
  • Experience in Tableau, SAP, SQL and statistics / data blending tools preferred
  • Ability to manage projects from inception to completion
  • Process focused - ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
