HCM Sales Specialist

Position Summary

They have a knack for hunting for the next qualified prospect to virtually present our software to. Our HCM Sales Specialist are able to sell the most powerful, user friendly and intuitive HCM software available to the SME market to C-Level & VP Level executives. HCM Sales Specialists are our "Brand Builders"

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Profile & hunt prospective clients & key contact points
  • Sell primarily virtually within an assigned territory to cultivate new revenue opportunities
  • Develop relationships with "Centers of Influence" to drive referrals
  • Manage existing client accounts by developing long-term relationships with key contacts to efforts to sell new additional products
  • Develop high impact presentations/product demos designed to highlight additional value to clients
  • Formulate and present proposals to depict the benefits of our highly-customizable solutions
  • Negotiate sound financial agreements
  • Maintain and manage a sales funnel of new opportunities to attain or exceed assigned sales quota
  • Track sales activity and transactions in Salesforce.com and reports information to management
  • Achieve or exceed assigned monthly new revenue goals

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 2-5 years of consultative sales in payroll, HR, HCM or SaaS/software solutions preferred


  • Strong sales aptitude/orientation including practical experience
  • An entrepreneurial mindset
  • Hunter mentality
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Experience managing multiple sales engagements effectively
  • Proven relationship building and client service skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
