Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to support the Global Acceptance Risk Products and Platform Team. The Risk Analyst is considered the first line of defense and is responsible for partnering across the organization to analyze and manage risks associated with the Global Acceptance Risk Platform.
This includes collecting metrics, identifying potential risks, developing risk mitigation strategies, and working closely with members of the risk and product teams to ensure that risks are effectively managed, minimized, and tracked. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and preferably experience in risk management or a related field.
Responsibilities:
Perform risk assessments to identify potential risks affecting the product portfolio
Analyze inputs/data to detect emerging risks and potential threats
Work across the organization to ensure strategies are created and implemented to minimize the impact of identified risks
Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts and update plans as necessary
Generate reports and present findings to stakeholders
Keep accurate and current records of all risk management activities
Work closely with product managers to integrate risk management process

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications
• 2-3 years of experience in risk, security, compliance, vendor management or audit, preferably with a financial institution or payment card company
• Understanding of inherent risks, controls and residual risks and/or risk assessments of entities in financial or payment industry
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and an ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations on course of action
• Excellent customer service and customer support skills
• Experience with successful support of internal customers and suppliers
• High level of self-motivation and initiative, and ability to operate effectively as a team player
• Flexibility and ability to think creatively and to identify new ways to approach old problems
• Undergraduate degree required
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 82,100 to 126,250 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
