Team Summary

Visa is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Marketing to lead the go-to-market and integrated marketing strategy for Growth Products & Innovation across the Asia Pacific region. Based in Singapore, this position will play a critical role in shaping how Visa introduces and scales next-generation payment technologies across both business and consumer segments.

The ideal candidate is a marketing leader with deep technology fluency—particularly in cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, blockchain, wallet payments, RTPs and emerging digital payment infrastructure—and a passion for crafting compelling stories that resonate with a range of stakeholders, from developers and fintechs to enterprise partners and end consumers.

What a Director – Growth Products Marketing does at Visa:

Working closely with cross-functional teams and client marketers across AP, this role will report into the VP, Consumer Solutions Marketing and lead the development, execution and implementation of engaging, effective, insights-driven programs across multiple media channels helping to drive Visa brand preference and usage of our Visa’s next generation of solutions.

In addition, the responsibilities include

  • Defining and leading the regional marketing strategy for Visa’s new payment products, including non-card solutions, stablecoins, digital wallets, Agentic Commerce, CBDCs, blockchain-based settlement solutions, and other emerging innovations to ensure that Visa is positioned at the forefront of innovative payments
  • Partnering with the product and strategy teams to localize and position Visa’s growth products narrative for the APAC region
  • Developing toolkits and assets for our clients and partner for sales enablement and marketing, including brand positioning, value proposition, platform development and messaging for key stakeholders (markets, clients)
  • Translating complex, technical product capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions tailored for different audiences.
  • Partner with agencies, creatives, and internal teams to develop high-impact content across channels.
  • Establishing thought leadership for Visa’s Growth Products portfolio by partnering with the Products and Communications teams to develop narratives, publishing insights, and representing Visa at industry forums, fintech festival, fintech accelerators, and developer communities—positioning the company as a pioneer in next-generation payment innovation.

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • 12+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, ideally in payments, fintech, crypto, Web3, or financial technology industries.
  • Strong understanding of emerging payment technologies, including non-card solutions, stablecoins, cryptocurrencies, tokenization, CBDCs, and blockchain infrastructure.
  • Proven experience developing go-to-market strategies for both B2B and B2C products.
  • Ability to bridge technical understanding with business impact and simplify complex ideas into accessible narratives.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills with experience working in matrixed, regional or global organizations.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with a data-driven mindset and execution excellence
  • Strong self-management skills including demonstrable drive and energy
  • Proactive with a can-do attitude; take ownership of the vision and able to get stuff done
  • Effective at collaborating, negotiating and managing multiple stakeholders

What will also help:

  • Experience working in or with Asian markets and an understanding of regional payment trends, regulatory environments, and consumer behaviors
  • MBA or advanced degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Familiarity with the developer ecosystem and technical product marketing
