Job Description
- Partner with internal analytics and business teams to transform complex, ambiguous problems into clear, measurable outcomes and actionable data products.
- Lead end‑to‑end BI solution delivery - from requirements refinement to data modeling, ELT/ETL, semantic layers, and high‑performance dashboards.
- Architect scalable, secure, and reusable BI assets, enforcing standards for modeling, QA, and performance optimization.
- Design intuitive UI wireframes aligned with industry best practices and Visa/Team guidelines for optimal user experience.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering/Data Science teams to define architecture, data flows, and mappings for dashboard builds.
- Develop high quality modules in Tableau, Power BI, D3 or other BI tools, ensuring performance meets user expectations.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in visualizations. Lead UAT with business teams to validate outputs.
- Define and implement dashboard delivery mechanisms ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Establish data/report‑level security based on user roles and access privileges within the organization.
- Drive Agile delivery , manage backlogs, prioritize sprints, conduct story pointing, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Create and evolve data visualization strategies, frameworks, and reusable components to strengthen the Data Insights practice.
- Mentor junior engineers. Elevate team BI practices through code reviews, design reviews, and technical demos.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all visualization processes and develop training content for end users.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
8+ years of professional experience complemented by a Masters degree in an analytical discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
4+ years of leadership experience in managing technical architecture, tooling, and design systems for BI development, preferably within financial services or consulting environments.
Strong familiarity with shared services models and cross industry consulting practices, particularly in financial services.
Expert in data visualization ecosystems with deep knowledge of both commercial BI tools and common open source technologies.
Solid engineering foundation with hands on experience in CI/CD for BI, code and data reviews, testing frameworks, and observability practices.
Proven track record in designing and delivering high performance, user centric dashboards that drive business decision making.
