Job Description
Team Summary
The Regional Sales Excellence team drives efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation across Visa’s sales organization in Asia Pacific. We focus on executing regional priorities, identifying growth opportunities, and enabling high-impact sales strategies. As part of our transformation efforts, we are actively adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance pipeline analytics, automate reporting, and improve client communications, helping build a smarter, more agile sales organization.
What an Associate, Sales Excellence does at Visa:
Reporting to the Sr Director Sales Excellence, this role will involve:
- Governance and Change Management: Coordinate client communications through bi-annual Visa Business News (VBN) updates, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across departments.
- Client Communication: Partner with various teams to deliver structured updates that build client trust and ensure readiness for strategic changes.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain dashboards, memos, and presentations that summarize changes, performance metrics, and client feedback for leadership visibility.
- Client Engagement Survey Management: Lead Visa’s Annual Client Engagement Survey in AP by working with Customer Relationship Manager (CRM)s to identify contacts, drive responses, and deliver post-survey analysis to leadership.
- Sales Rule Review Coordination: Organize reviews of Visa Rule updates across AP, assess business impact, and provide go or no-go recommendations to the Rules Committee based on feedback and business knowledge.
- Sales Pipeline Accuracy: Ensure the Sales pipeline remains clean and accurate for business reviews with Asia Pacific Leadership Team and Market Leadership.

This particular role will focus on the second side of the business, that is, running all the tools, training, pipelines and processes that enable our sales teams to be more efficient and effective. The role is crucial to delivering on the mandate of Sales 2.0 and the Visa 2030 strategy to make Visa a best-in-Class B2B Sales organization.
What’s in it for the candidate:
This is a great opportunity to work with senior leadership, Heads of Sales, BPO’S and other key stakeholders who help to run the AP business. This role will assist in projects that focus on:
- Managing the pipeline
- Developing analytics and problem-solving skills to assist front line sales staff and help shape Visa’s sales transformation
- Being an integral role of planning and executing on some of the Sales excellence teams key brands such as “global Client Engagement Survey”, “Benchmark reporting”, “MSD Pipeline” and “Boot Camps”.
The Sales Excellence team has a high profile within the sales community at Visa. This role will play a key part in delivering on the Visa 2.0 strategy of being a best in class B2B sales organization, which in turn helps to strengthen client relationships and supports Visa’s mission to enable secure, inclusive payments for communities.
Qualifications
What you will need:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, client enablement, or transformation initiatives, with a strong executional focus.
- Comfortable working with data—able to support impact assessments, stakeholder mapping, and reporting using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Solid understanding of sales processes, client segmentation, and business operations; familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present insights clearly.
- Proficient in using collaboration and documentation tools (e.g., Compass, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams) to manage tasks and track progress.
- Organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
