Ultimately, the strategic partnerships team (including you) is responsible for owning the business relationship with platform partners and supporting the internal content, publishing, and sales teams as they work with our partners. The Strategic Partnerships team does a wide variety of work including but not limited to: managing day-to-day needs of external and internal partners, negotiating contracts and other agreements, modeling new business opportunities, creating internal and external presentations, and managing special projects. Role x You
You are a passionate and collaborative partner manager looking to join our fast-paced team.
In the short term you’ll be supporting strategic platform relationships, working cross-functionally on strategic initiatives including project managing content partnerships and creating comprehensive and cohesive presentations for executive review.
But after 6 months in this role we see you building and maintaining financial models and operational trackers that tie to our various content and business functions across the digital news and entertainment business.
And after a year you’ll grow to own a set of external partner relationships, while continuing to support the VP, Partnership Management across our global partner set.
You have these:
- 5+ years of strategic partnerships, account management, customer service, sales or other relevant experience.
- A college degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated data analysis and financial modeling skills.
- Project management experience using various project management frameworks and exceptional attention for detail
- Experience negotiating and redlining contracts, in partnership with our legal team.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with senior management.
- Energy to do work we didn’t ask you to do. We’re sure you’re a passionate person, show it.
We’d love if you also had these:
- Industry knowledge of digital media, online video and social platforms.
- Experience with next gen media companies is a plus.
