ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Virtue is looking for the next great associate creative director.
This position isn’t for the untested. You must be able to lead a team and thrive under the pressure cooker of independence. We’re looking for someone who is thrilled by the possibility of owning a project from start to finish, eager to hone their ‘managing others’ chops, and fully dedicated to the work being fantastic.
The ideal candidate is a creative who has the triad of conceptual development skills, executional craft skills, and people management skills (though as this is an ACD role there’s room to grow there). This is primarily an art direction role, but being able to oversee copy is important as well. Attention to detail and an innate drive to care are crucial.
He/She has a varied background in art direction & design with a strategic backbone to match. You name it, they’ve touched it creatively. From TV to banner ads, from music videos to screenplays, they’ve done their fair share and done it well. Well enough to have had your name etched into a few pieces of metal now sitting on a shelf somewhere.
The Must Haves:
This person is a magician. The moment they pick up a marker and hit the whiteboard, the ideas flow, and not just for them, but for everybody else in the room too.
The right candidate will first and foremost be a teacher. One who knows their craft – and the ins and outs of passing down their trade. They epitomize WE before ME, act flexibly, and are very passionate. They are part time charmer and part time psychologist, able to handle the seesawing of personalities to keep team morale on the up and up.
This is a client-facing role so a big personality will come in handy. You must be very comfortable presenting and particularly good at thinking on the fly. You must also be a leading voice in inter-agency meetings, capable of pushing back with the right amount of finesse to elevate the work and keep the client on their toes.

- 6-8 years agency experience as a creative.
- A background in art direction, design and all things pleasing to the eye.
- Can create big ideas and the tactics that accompany them.
- Emotionally intelligent with a deep interest in managing other creatives.
- Strong knowledge of digital production and experience with video shoots.
- Mastery of Keynote for majestic deck crafting.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Pragmatic but inspired.
- Has a diversified background and a variety of interests to draw inspiration from.
- CPG, Beauty, Fashion or Luxury experience is a plus, but let’s see what else you’ve got!
