Overview:

As Paramount+ continues to grow, so does the need for additional creative marketing talent. The Art Director, Brand Social will cultivate creative social content to promote the overall brand of Paramount+. We are looking for someone with a passion for entertainment who can work cross-functionally and support Creative Directors, Project Managers, and Social Strategy brand leads to align the creative vision for campaigns.

You will work with teams including designers, editors, and social producers to deliver creative direction, lead in-house creatives, and partner with cross company brands / creative leads to ensure brand messaging aligns.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with creative executives, producers, creative directors, digital marketing designers, and project managers, all while ensuring social creative is high-level and on-brand.
  • Provide clear, insightful direction for social creative to teams within Paramount Streaming, agency partners and freelance resources.
  • Push creative ideas from concept to completion, collaborating with creative and strategy teams.
  • Bring a perspective on social media best processes and new implementations for platforms.
  • Facilitate efficient and effective communication between groups to guide campaigns from ideation through delivery.
  • Use your detailed understanding of typography, composition, layout, color theory, logo design and concepting to lead brainstorming sessions, encourage creative solutions, and coordinate concepts for pitches and cross team collaboration.
  • Understand workflows in a complex design team, knowledge of files, formats, and platforms to support all design areas, principally social, but also motion, display and key art.
  • Work alongside Design Directors to uphold and develop brand rules and solutions from multiple teams and external agencies.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 8+ years' experience, including experience leading direct reports, preferably in a creative environment.
  • Experience crafting and leading social creative assets.
  • An insatiable strive to push creative boundaries and concept solutions that help Paramount+.
  • Experience collaborating with teams and delivering feedback.
  • Ability to mentor and problem-solve; a creative influencer for designers on your team and partners on other teams.
  • Confidence in marketing and design prowess, with excellent skills in photo manipulation / comping / masking / retouching experience, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Photoshop and Illustrator).
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Experience using team collaboration platforms like Asana or JIRA.
  • Experience with AVOD / streaming subscription services.
