Job Summary

The Data Support Steward role is crucial in ensuring the integrity and quality of our core data ensuring customer success. The person would be responsible in keeping data accurate, complete, and up to date as well as providing outstanding customer service.


  • Process requests originated from various customer sources
  • Validate various data elements using standard methods of research, such as the Internet and/or via telephone
  • Making required phone calls to targets for informational updates and verification
  • Applying newly verified data elements to core database records
  • Resolving duplications of existing core data elements
  • Documentation of actions taken and required notation
  • BA/BS or equivalent degree
  • Proficiency (Read/Write/Oral) in English
  • Prior call centre and/or customer service experience mandatory
  • Ability to learn quickly and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Windows, Google apps, MS Office and other office software
  • Patient demeanor, people skills
  • Highly organized, attention to detail and focus on quality
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Receptive to feedback or constructive feedback 
Nice to Have
  • Basic technical computer maintenance skills, the ability to troubleshoot simple technical issues as they relate to maintaining a functional workstation
  • Experience with medical background, medical and life science industries, sales or market research experience preferred
  • Career interest in data services, quality control and assurance, customer relations and personnel supervision
  • Knowledge of terminology and data quality standards within the life sciences industry
