As an Investment Associate your typical day includes:

  • Assisting all types of investors with meeting their financial goals—the young adult opening a first account, a family saving for a child’s college education, a married couple investing for their first home, a high net worth client preserving her wealth, or an entrepreneur managing his small-business retirement plan.
  • Developing relationships with clients to understand their unique investment needs and position appropriate products or solutions.

  • Undergraduate degree (in Finance related field is preferred however all majors will be considered) or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum two to three years of general client service experience.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of knowledge regarding Vanguard products, services, and systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively and communicate with clients, peers, and management.
  • Exceptional client service skills.
  • Effective problem solving, writing and decision making skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a quickly changing environment.
  • The ability to obtain your Series 7 & 63 licenses.
