As a Senior Architect supporting Endpoint and Workplace O perations environment, you will be working in a dynamic environment covering industry leading technologies all the way from end user support , to AI/ML, Observability, Automation and cloud infrastructure. Impact you will make:
- P rovide the vision, strategic direction, and initiative roadmap for enterprise-impacting, transformational, technology imperatives. To define the reference and implementation Architectures for enterprise-impacting, transformational, technology imperatives. To persuade and influences senior Business & IT leaders on the architectural direction for enterprise-wide, transformational, technology imperatives.
- The Endpoint Architect is a highly visible position to serve as part of a team to deliver engineering support services t o Vanguard .
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their mission and vision as well as end-user requirements and needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain large-scale infrastructure solutions to support AI and machine learning workloads.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards for infrastructure configurations and procedures.
- Stay up to dat e with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our infrastructure.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure projects and initiatives.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure solutions.
What it takes:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or a related field, preferred but not required .
- Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience in infrastructure operations/engineering experience, with a focus on endpoint support, Workplace Operations, Observability and Automation.
- Design, implement, and maintain large-scale infrastructure solutions leveraging AI /ML .
- Exceptional conceptual thinking and analysis skills, couple d with highly effective presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Expert conceptual knowledge leveraging architecture practices and implementation concepts.
- Specific experience in creating, maintaining and enhancing multi-year architecture plans.
- Demonstrated record of recommending successful architecture technology designs
- Experience conducting architecture reviews to assess impact of proposed systems and preparation of mitigation plans.
- Demonstrated coaching skills with other technical team members to further develop their technical skills and competencies.
- Stay up to dat e with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our infrastructure.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure projects and initiatives.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure solutions.
