We are pleased to offer a semester-long co-op position starting in September 2017 at BMW Technology Corporation in Chicago, IL. The co-op will be working max. 20 hours per week while still attending classes.
The UI Design co-op will contribute to multidisciplinary teams and work collaboratively to deliver creative solutions to challenging problems in the dynamic and changing car/connected industry.
The ideal candidate has experience in designing for mobile application, prototyping, in addition to being comfortable communicating a point of view. Sample of Portfolio is required.
The UI Design cop-op will work closely and collaborate the product team to build the
ideal experience. This position requires you to be self-motivated and jump right in.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Designing for Mobile (primarily), In-car, web.
- Flexibility to work with and evolve strong brand guidelines.
- Contribute to all stages of design process including: research, prototyping, usability testing, and implementation.

• Pursuing B.S. or higher in Design, Computer Science or equivalent; target graduation date in December 2017 or May 2018.
• Provide a strong set of work samples that highlight an attention to detail and craft
• Proficiency in current mobile technologies.
• Indicate a positive, self-motivated disposition
