We are pleased to offer a 6 Month Internship starting in or about March/ April 2017 at BMW of North America, LLC.

6 Month Internship BMW NA – Rolls-Royce Motor Cars NA Intern - Operations

The Operations Intern is a shared Intern between Sales Operations and Sales Channel Development in support of various projects and daily tasks.

In Retail Operations, he/she will support the Retail Operations Manager, the Sales Planning and Logistics Manager and the different Regional General Managers in their day to day business as well as pro actively adding own ideas for process and system improvements.

The main tasks include the following:

  • Helping to source vehicles for customers out of RRMC NA stock.
  • Keeping the systems up to date: Car Management Database, Transport System and Fleet Calendar.
  • Liaising with the Vehicle Distribution Center and Logistics Operators
  • Work with internal customers to manage the event and press fleets, as well as fleet logistics
  • Creating and improving various reports

For Sales Channel Development, the Intern will support the Dealer Development Manager and the Training Manager in their daily day to day business as well as proactively adding own ideas for process and system improvements surrounding RRMC Dealer Training.

The main tasks include the following:

  • Management of Learning Management System accounts to ensure high accuracy
  • Create training courses in the LMS once scheduled per the direction of the Training Manager
  • Create and distribute timely and accurate training reports to RRMC NA internals as well as Dealer Network

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • Enrolled in Bachelors or Masters studies or have graduated no more than 12 months prior to internship start date

Preferred Requirements:

  • Preferred field of study: Business Management, Economics, Business Informatics or Organizational Behavior fields of study with International experience.
  • Additional Skills: proven advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Microsoft Access is a plus; Very good written and spoken language skills; Good teamwork and strong communication skills; Enjoy working independently; self-motivated and flexible; Exceptional organizational skills; Comfortable with numbers; Detail oriented and articulate; Strong initiative and problem solving skills
  • Conscientious, responsible, able to work independently and as part of a team.  Highly motivated and able to keep calm under pressure.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Availability of 6 months
