We are pleased to offer a 6 Month Internship starting in or about January 2019 at BMW of North America, LLC.

Integration of Accessories Installation + Accessory and Lifestyle Business Development

The intern will assist the Senior Project Manager in supporting him in the project enabling BMW to install vehicle accessories in an attached but still stand alone facility in the Spartanburg factory. The facility is yet to be built, which implies that the intern will accomplish overall monitoring of process progress, analyzing and summarizing findings and minutes taken. As part of the role it is essential that results and outcomes of various approval committees get documented and followed-up in re to completion. This obviously requires highest level of analytical as well as top knowledge in IT skills. Power Point, Word, Excel analysis with functions like Pivot-Tables, V-Look up and logical formulas are cornerstones for this internship. Additional tasks will include gathering, analyzing and utilizing data to create analysis, which can be used to derive operational actions to develop the field of Accessories and Lifestyle in the US market. The intern will also develop PowerPoint slides/presentations, Excel overviews, visualizing deviations/changes made based on data/results made available. Assistance in the Aftersales Business Development & Marketing team with projects, analysis and management presentation preparation as well as managing smaller projects under guidance of the respective business owner are further tasks of the intern.

Qualifications and experience
Minimum Requirements:

• Enrolled in Bachelors or Masters studies or have graduated no more than 12 months prior to internship start date

Preferred Requirements:

• Field of Study: Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Finance
• Very good command of German and English (fluent, oral and written)
• Previous BMW experience preferred
• Highest Level/Versatility in Power Point, Microsoft Excel, Word skills
• Conscientious, responsible, ability to work independently and as part of a team as well as motivated. Ability to plan / organize, meet deadlines, research, analyze, multitask and prioritize. Communication / presentation skills, observation and listening skills on the highest level
• Availability of 6 months
